Wings flaming, the Oberlin Phoenix smiled at us and flexed its muscles.
The costumed mascot has joined the roster over at Oberlin High School, making its debut at Friday night’s basketball game.
There’s some mystery surrounding the six-foot-tall firebird — for one, it doesn’t have a name. And two, only a very few people know the Phoenix’s secret identity.
