Skeleton run attracts a costumed crowd

Runners and walkers of all ages took part Sunday in the 19th Annual 5K Skeleton Run. Quarter-mile and half-mile runs for grades K-8 were held on the Amherst Steele High School track before 5K runners took off down Washington Street. A dog and stroller division was also offered, with many participants in all divisions taking the chance to show off their Halloween costumes.
