A new company specializing in acupuncture, medical marijuana, nutrition, family medicine, gynecology, and dermatology will open tomorrow on North Leavitt Road in Amherst.
A wine and cheese social to celebrate the grand opening of Ohio Holistic Healthcare was held Nov. 30.
Physicians Corie Kovach and Ann Marie Dorobek are opening the practice.
“Our vision is to transform and elevate the overall health and well-being of the residents of Lorain County and the surrounding areas by utilizing a unique combination of natural, herbal, nutritional, alternative, Eastern and Western medicine blended specifically for each individual patient,” said Kovach.
She attended Youngstown State University, Kent State University, and Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and has done postgraduate training in OB/GYN at East Carolina University, Pitt County Memorial Hospital/Brody SOM, and in acupuncture at Harvard School of Medicine.
Dorobek is a board-certified family physician who was born and raised in Lorain County. She has worked in the Lorain and Erie county areas since 2002 in various settings including family practice, dermatology, and emergency department and urgent care.
Dorobek attended the University of Cincinnati, Case Western School of Medicine, and has completed her postgraduate training in family medicine at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University.
